Description
The CEN Racing Matrix E 1:10 2WD Buggy RTR in Red, part number CEN8110, is a ready-to-run radio-controlled buggy with rear-wheel drive. It uses an RS-550 high-torque brushed motor and a 60A waterproof and dustproof ESC powered by HobbyWing, with automatic throttle calibration, low-voltage protection for Li-Po and NiMH batteries, overheat protection and throttle signal loss protection. The included 2.4GHz AMP30 three-channel radio system provides digital trimming, steering dual-rate adjustment, end-point adjustment and a built-in failsafe.
Features
The Matrix E has a pre-painted racing-spec buggy body and wing mounted on a low-centre-of-gravity moulded composite chassis. Full ball-bearing support, an easy-access battery tray and a high-torque servo saver support the drivetrain layout. Its fully independent double-wishbone suspension uses big-bore, oil-filled adjustable coil-over shocks with oversized bodies and 3mm hardened steel polished shafts. Rear-wheel drive, full metal transmission gears and a slipper clutch complete the transmission system, while 2.2-inch racing-spec tyres are fitted to the supplied wheels.
Steering is handled by a Savox-powered servo with a 25T horn gear spline. The transmitter weighs 375g and requires four AA alkaline batteries, which are not included. The receiver operates on a 4.8–6.0V supply, and the battery tray measures 160 x 48mm.
