Description

The XRay Center Gear Diff Outdrive Adapter - Lightweight (1 1), part XR364966, is a set of two lightweight centre differential outdrives for a Large Volume centre differential. The outdrives are machined from HUDY Spring Steel™ material, allowing material to be removed from the outer section to reduce rotating weight while retaining the stated durability of the component.

Reduced rotational mass can help improve acceleration, braking and drivetrain efficiency by lowering the amount of weight the drivetrain must turn. The inner section of each outdrive is hand-ground for a consistent fit into the differential case. The outdrives are also hardened using XRAY’s own process, which is intended to provide extended service life and reliability during use.

This lightweight design is suggested for use with the Large Volume centre differential. By combining the reduced outer section with a hardened construction, the set is intended to support lower rotational mass without removing the features needed for use in the centre differential assembly.

Center differential outdrives with lightweight design to accommodate the Large Volume center differential.

To reduce rotating weight, the super-lightweight diff outdrives are machined from HUDY Spring Steel™ material which allows additional material to be removed on the outer part of the outdrives, further reducing the weight without effecting durability. The inner part of the outdrives is additionally hand-ground for perfect fitment into the diff case.

Lightweight differential outdrives reduce rotational mass, which improves acceleration, braking, and drivetrain efficiency.

The outdrives are hardened using XRAY‘s own special hardening process to provide extended lifespan and reliability. Set of 2.
