Description
The Schumacher Carbon Fibre Wide Rear Link Mount - L1R (SCH-U8537) is a team-proven tuning aid that alters rear camber link geometry to increase roll stiffness in a different way to usual methods. This approach allows the use of a softer rear spring and a longer camber link on the hub carrier, helping the car stay flatter through turns while maintaining support.
Tuning Benefits
- Adds roll stiffness via camber link geometry rather than stiffer springs alone.
- Enables softer spring and longer hub carrier link positions.
- Helps keep the car flatter mid-corner.
- Carbon fibre construction.
Surface Setup Tips
- Two width settings for fine-tuning response.
- Widest setting: suited to carpet, delivering the most aggressive initial steering.
- Narrow setting: suited to astro, for a calmer initial response.
Suggested Compatibility
- Schumacher L1R

Specifications
The C/F wider rear link mount has been used by the team to add roll stiffness but in a different way to the usual. It has allowed the car to use a softer spring and a longer camber link position on the hub carrier.
The team has found that this will keep the car flatter in the turn. It has 2 widths, the widest being for carpet as it is the most aggressive on initial steering and then the narrow setting for astro.
Definitely worth having available as a tuning aid.
