ICM Desert Storm OV-10 Bronco 1:48 Plastic Kit HC-ICM48302

The ICM HC-ICM48302 plastic model kit, named Desert Storm: US aircraft OV-10A and OV-10D+ – 1991, represents two US Marine Corps OV-10 Bronco modifications used during Operation Desert Storm. In August 1990, Iraq invaded Kuwait, leading to a multinational coalition response. The air campaign began on 17 January 1991, followed by a ground phase involving the US Marine Corps and its aircraft based in Saudi Arabia.

The OV-10 Bronco aircraft depicted in this set supported Marine operations by locating Iraqi firing positions, guiding attack aircraft and naval artillery, and assisting with communication and targeting. The subjects represent the OV-10A and OV-10D+ modifications used by the 3rd Marine Wing during the conflict, which was the final combat deployment of the type with the US Marine Corps.

This 1:48 scale plastic kit includes both aircraft, with desert camouflage colour schemes and two marking options for each subject. The parts are supplied on detailed plastic sprues, and assembly instructions are included to guide construction.
