The ICM Do 17Z-7 - WWII German Night Fighter, part number HC-ICM72307, is a 1:72 scale plastic aircraft model kit of the Dornier twin-engine night fighter. The original Do 17 was developed in Germany during the 1930s as a high-speed bomber intended to outpace contemporary fighter aircraft. From 1939, the Do 17Z series introduced the Waffenkopf-style nose and air-cooled Bramo 323 Fafnir engines.

Approximately 500 Do 17Z-1 and Do 17Z-2 bombers were produced between 1939 and 1940. The Do 17Z-7 Kauz I night fighter variant was also produced in 1940, featuring nose-fired armament. These aircraft served with the 1./NJG 2 night fighter unit until the beginning of 1941. This kit represents that Do 17Z-7 variant and provides a subject from the early period of German night-fighter operations.
