ICM Do 215B-5 WWII Night Fighter Kit HC-ICM72306

The ICM Do 215B-5 WWII German Night Fighter, part HC-ICM72306, is a 1:72 scale plastic aircraft model kit depicting the night-fighter version of Dornier's twin-engine bomber. The Do 215 was developed in Germany during the early 1930s from the Do 17 design, which was intended to achieve enough speed to outpace contemporary fighter aircraft. From early 1940, 105 Do 215B aircraft were produced with liquid-cooled DB 601A engines.

The Do 215B-5 modification entered service as a night fighter in 1941. These aircraft were equipped with FuG 202 Lichtenstein radar and served with the 11./NJG 1 night-fighter unit until the beginning of 1944. This kit presents the aircraft in 1:72 scale and contains 204 parts for assembly.
