Description

Evergreen [5-252] 14 Square Tube .125 (1:8), part number EVG5-252, is a pack of 15 square polystyrene tubes for scale modelling and scratch-building projects. Each tube has a 3.2mm (.125in) square profile and is supplied in a 350mm (14in) length, making the pack suitable for creating consistent sections across a model.

The square profile has crisp external corners and consistent wall thickness for representing box sections, structural columns, industrial frameworks, architectural details and chassis rails. The hollow construction also allows smaller tube sizes to nest inside larger profiles, supporting sliding mechanisms, telescopic details and reinforced sleeves where the model requires a layered structure.

Features

These white polystyrene tubes can be cut, drilled and mitred for model-making work. Liquid solvent cement can be used to join the material, while the opaque white surface provides a base for acrylic paints and weathering. The hollow centre can also be used for internal wiring or additional thin reinforcement where appropriate.
