Description

Evergreen 14 Strip .030 x .100 (100 per pack), part number EVG6-135, is a pack of 100 white polystyrene modelling strips. Each strip is supplied in a 350mm (14in) length with a 0.030 x 0.100in profile, corresponding to approximately 1mm thick by 3mm wide. The strips are made from polystyrene and have a plain white finish.

These Evergreen strips are intended for model-making applications where straight lengths of styrene are needed for structural or decorative details. They can be cut, scored and snapped, sanded or drilled to shape. The consistent length and rectangular profile make them suitable for creating items such as frames, bracing, beams, trim and other scratch-built details, subject to the requirements of the project.

The polystyrene surface can be painted, while liquid solvent cement can be used to join compatible polystyrene components. The solvent softens the adjoining surfaces to form a bonded joint as it sets.
