Retaining the classic mid-motor layout and racy body lines of the original, this belt-driven chassis has been refined for today’s electronics, gears and tracks while preserving the spirit of the 1980s legend.

A rigid 6061 T6 aluminium countersunk chassis, FRP shock stays, reinforced slipper clutch and full ball bearings provide a precise, efficient platform. The 48-pitch drivetrain with adjustable belt tensioner ensures smooth power delivery, while the included wheels and tyres capture the authentic Optima Mid look and grip.
