The MDM-1 Fox is a composite unlimited aerobatic glider that made an unforgettable debut by securing first place at its very first public unveiling — the World Championships. Since then, it has continued to dominate glider competitions and remains a favourite on podiums worldwide.

Designed to seat two in relative comfort, the Fox also performs impressively in cross-country flights, despite having a glide ratio of just 28:1. Its sleek, efficient profile and wide-ranging aerobatic capabilities distinguish it from other gliders and made it a natural choice for FMS to replicate in model form.

Transportable and Durable Design

The MDM-1 Fox features wings reinforced with glass and carbon composite, as well as an aluminium wing joiner tube. These wings are easily removable for transport, and the compact fuselage design further adds to the convenience and enjoyment of ownership.

Versatile Performance

This model handles a wide range of aerobatic manoeuvres with ease, including positive and negative loops, stall turns, point rolls and inverted flight. It also excels in thermal hunting and slope soaring, making it a versatile glider suitable for a wide range of flying environments and pilot experience levels.
