FTX Evo30 Brushless Street Car

The FTX EVO30 Brushless Street Car RTR in black distils the spirit of iconic ‘80s RWD supercars into a contemporary 4WD platform that’s ready for car park drift sessions or straight-line speed runs. Supplied as 99% ready-to-run, the EVO30 (part number FTX5493) includes a choice of tyres: hard slick drift boots on 6‑spoke wheels for controlled slides, or soft treaded rubber with 25mm front and 30mm rear widths for added high-speed stability.

An aero-inspired, wide moulded main chassis with a smooth, screwless underside and rear diffuser helps keep things planted at speed. The shaft-driven 4WD drivetrain features sealed front and rear metal gear differentials for durability, with front CVD universal driveshafts and full ball bearings for efficiency. Adjustable double wishbone suspension with oil-filled shocks and front/rear anti-roll bars lets you dial in handling to suit surface and tyre choice.

Electronics are neatly housed in a modular radio tray. Power comes from an Etronix 3652 KV3300 brushless motor paired with a Hobbywing 60A brushless ESC, fed by a Voltz 2S 30C 2500mAH LiPo battery. Steering duties are handled by an Etronix waterproof 15kg metal geared servo. Control is via the FTX 2.4GHz 5-channel radio system, with an adjustable gyro-enabled receiver on hand to stabilise the car and assist with opposite lock during high-speed transitions and drifting. An Etronix LiPo balance charger is included for convenience.

Classic ‘80s body styling is complemented by a detailed moulded front grille with light lenses. A front and rear multifunction LED light set, managed by a light box control, completes the scale look. Combined with the quick release battery holder and robust chassis layout, the EVO30 delivers a practical, durable and engaging street RC experience.
