Answer the call with the FTX Kanyon Mountain Rescue Crawler - RTR (FTX5563R). This 1/10 XL 4x4 edition captures the go-anywhere ethos of real rescue teams, pairing rugged trail performance with a distinctive rescue-inspired livery and antenna detail. With a working front bumper winch controllable from the transmitter and a switchable 2-speed gearbox, it’s built to tackle both technical obstacles and faster sections with confidence.
Under the body, a 60T high-torque brushed motor teams up with metal output gears and a compact 3-gear transmission. Straight locked axles, front CVA universal driveshafts and multi-link suspension combine for impressive articulation and grip, while telescopic sliding centre shafts and diff lockers help deliver dependable drive across uneven terrain. Oil-filled adjustable shocks and aluminium bumper/body mounts add durability and control on the trail.
The electronics package is trail-ready too, with a waterproof 60A crawler ESC and a waterproof 9kg steering servo managed by the Etronix 2.4GHz radio system and protected by a receiver box. Lighting is handled by 13 factory-fitted LEDs for enhanced scale presence after dark.
Ready-to-run convenience is built in: the Kanyon arrives 99% assembled with a Voltz 1800mAh 7.2V NiMH battery and a USB 600mA charger. Scale touches include a moulded roof rack, fenders and light bar, plus scale-styled wheels wrapped in super soft block tyres, so you can head straight for the next trail or rescue-themed adventure.

FTX’s new Mountain Rescue edition Kanyon looks to capture the go anywhere mindset of rescue teams by including some new features over the standard Kanyon. A switchable 2-speed gearbox provides high and low speeds to help navigate rough and smooth terrain, whilst a front bumper mounted winch can be operated from the transmitter to haul you out of trouble.
The iconic Kanyon body comes finished in a new mountain rescue inspired livery and a radio antenna is included for when you must contact base camp on the walkie-talkie.
A 60T brushed motor provides the torque, while the same metal output gears, locked axles and multi-link suspension produce the drive you need to pretty much scale over most obstacles.
With a moulded roof rack ready for you to load with scale rescue accessories, you don’t need to waste too much time before you are ready for your first emergency call out!
