Would this motor along with your recommended esc be ok to fit my sons outback 3 paso, as that’s also a 390 can.

That motor would be much too quick and probably get too hot in that car.

That is for the brushless version and is the same as the standard brushless motor , this cannot be fitted in the brushed version without the brushless esc and 3 wire servo.
