The ICM G7107 – WWII Army Truck in 1:35 scale recreates the Chevrolet Lend-Lease vehicle that played a major role in Soviet service from 1942 onwards. More than 47,000 trucks helped transform mobility and mechanisation, serving in front-line and support roles including infantry transport, artillery tractor, ambulance, mobile radio and ammunition delivery. Renowned for reliability and manoeuvrability, vehicles of this series also formed the basis for multiple launch rocket systems, famously the Katyusha.

This detailed plastic model kit (part HC-ICM35593) captures the character of the G7107 with finely moulded parts and precise engineering. It includes a three-version decal sheet and clear assembly instructions to support an accurate and satisfying build.

Delivery of Chevrolet cars to Lend-Lease from the United States began in 1942. Until the end of the war, the number of these vehicles in the Soviet Army exceeded 47,000 units. Thanks to these trucks, the level of mechanisation and mobility of combat formations reached a new level. Chevrolet trucks were used both in combat units and rear support units. They were used to transport infantry, as well as being used as artillery tractors, ambulances, mobile radios, and to deliver ammunition, etc.

Reliable enough and easy to operate, and with good manoeuvrability, they rightfully enjoyed the love and respect of soldiers. Also, in addition to performing the functions of trucks, many vehicles of this series served as the basis for the installation of multiple launch rocket systems – the well-known combat vehicles of rocket artillery, better known as “Katyusha”.
