Description

The ICM He 111H-3 – WWII German Bomber (part HC-ICM48261) is a 1:48 scale plastic model kit that recreates the notable Heinkel He 111H-3, a twin‑engine aircraft developed to meet the 1930s demand for a high‑speed bomber. Introduced from November 1939 and fitted with liquid‑cooled Jumo 211D‑1 engines with increased power and enhanced armament, the H-3 variant saw extensive action across Luftwaffe operations in 1940–1941. This kit combines accuracy with fine detail, offering a rewarding build for aircraft modellers.

Designed and produced by ICM, the kit focuses on authenticity and detail. It provides highly detailed engines and a well-appointed cockpit interior, supported by precision-moulded sprues in quality plastic. A four-version decal sheet is included, allowing you to finish the model in historically documented schemes from France, Norway and Russia across 1940–1943.

Specifications

In the beginning of the 1930s, there was a desire for a high-speed bomber that could outpace contemporary fighter planes. One plane to come to fruition from this desire was the twin-engine bomber He 111 designed and produced by German company Heinkel Flugzeugwerke AG. From November 1939 they produced He 111H-3 planes with liquid-cooled Jumo 211D-1 engines with increased power and more powerful armaments. In early 1940, they produced 504 He 111H-3 bombers. They took part in all 1940-1941 Luftwaffe operations.
