Description
Heki 30912 Dark Green Grassmat 200 x 100 cm is a pre-flocked scenic grass mat from Heki, supplied under part number 5546045. It provides a ready-made layer of dark green ground cover for model railways, architectural models, dioramas, displays and tabletop scenery.
The mat has a flexible backing coated with fine static grass fibres, giving the surface a textured appearance rather than a flat finish. It can be cut with scissors for defined edges or torn by hand to form less regular transitions between different areas of a layout. The backing can also be shaped around curves, slopes and other irregular terrain.
Features
Heki grass mats provide immediate coverage across larger scenic areas, reducing the need to apply loose flock by hand. The dark green colour can be used for grassed ground, landscaped areas and other model scenery where a continuous green surface is required. The material can be attached to suitable surfaces such as wood, foam or plastic using PVA glue, spray adhesive or hot glue, as stated by the manufacturer.
