Hobbywing Quicrun 16BL30 G2 ESC With 2030SL 6500Kv G2 Motor, part number HW38030005, is a waterproof brushless speed control and motor combo for suggested use in 1/16 and 1/18 scale radio-controlled vehicles. The system pairs a 30A QuicRun G2 ESC with a 2030SL 6500KV brushless motor for on-road and off-road applications.
The ESC uses intelligent freewheeling to improve drive efficiency, reduce operating temperature and support stable operation. Its compact G2 case is smaller than the previous-generation 16BL30, helping with installation and chassis wiring. The built-in BEC provides switchable 6V or 7.4V output at 2A continuous current, with up to 4A peak output for compatible high-torque or high-voltage servos.
With IP67-rated protection, the ESC is designed to resist dust, splashes and water in harsh conditions such as rain, sand and muddy roads. This protection is tested under controlled laboratory conditions and can reduce through wear and ageing, so extended submersion should be avoided. The motor has a sealed silicone rubber sleeve around its wire outlet and uses a reinforced rotor structure for a speed limit of up to 65,000RPM.
Features
The motor has a 6500KV rating, a 2-pole design and 3.5mm gold-plated output plugs for direct connection. It is supplied with an XT60 power plug and matching output connections. The ESC can be adjusted using its SET button, an LED Program Box or an LCD G2 Program Box. OTA programming, firmware upgrades and data recording are not supported.
The ESC supports sensorless brushless motors and can also operate with a sensored brushless motor in sensorless mode. Suggested motor applications include the QuicRun 2030 G2 and 2435 G3 range, while the motor is suggested for 1/18 scale vehicles.

The ESC features intelligent freewheeling technology, delivering higher drive efficiency, lower operating temperatures, improved stability, and greater reliability.
Compact Size for Easier Installation and Flexible Layout.
Compared to the previous generation 16BL30 ESC, the G2 ESC is significantly smaller: 8.3% shorter in length, 7.1% narrower, and 16.7% lower in height. This design is compact and makes installation easier and allows for cleaner wiring on the chassis.
BEC Upgrade Compared to the G1 ESC.
The BEC’s continuous current has been upgraded from 1A to 2A.
A peak current of up to 4A

High Protection Rating.

Note: The IP67 protection rating described above applies under normal usage conditions, providing splash resistance, water resistance, and dust resistance, as tested under controlled laboratory conditions. These protective features are not permanent, and protection performance may degrade over time due to regular wear and aging. Do not submerge the product in water for extended periods, as this may cause damage.
