How to calibrate a Hobbywing ESC.
Updated by Simon
When fitting a new ESC to your car you will need to calibrate the ESC to the handset so it knows where neutral, full throttle and full reverse are. On a Hobbywing ESC this is the correct procedure to do this.
1, Turn on the transmitter
2, Connect a fully charged battery to the ESC
3, Press and hold the set button ( normally next to the switch ) while turning the ESC on, the ESC will Start beeping in a steady rhythm , beep, beep, beep, beep, you then release the button

4, leave the transmitter in neutral position and press the button once, there will be a single beep.

5, Then hold full throttle on the transmitter and press the button, there will be a double beep.

6, Then hold full reverse on the transmitter and press the button, there will be 3 beeps

Then leave the transmitter at the neutral point and the ESC will finish the setup process.
