Traxxas ESC driving modes
When you have purchase your Traxxas car or ESC ( Electronic speed controller )
All of these ESC come with 3 drive mode, except the XL-5HV ( this has 5 but will cover this latter )
The basic 3 modes are
Profile #1 (Sport Mode): 100% Forward, 100% Brakes, 100% Reverse
Profile #2 (Race Mode): 100% Forward, 100% Brakes, No Reverse
Profile #3 (Training Mode): 50% Forward, 100% Brakes, 50% Reverse
To change between these modes you need to follow the following steps
1, connect a fully charged battery to the car
2, turn on the handset of the car
3, Press and hold the EZ set button on the ESC ( keep the button held down )

4, the ESC will now cycle through the modes,
1 red flash = sport mode 100% forward, 100% brake and 100% reverse

2 red flashes = race mode 100% forward, 100% brake , no reverse

3 red flashes = training mode 50% forward, 100% brake and 50% reverse

When you reach the amount of red flashes for your desired mode simply release the EZ set button.
The ESC will now be in that mode, and will remember this mode until you go through the setting to change it ( even if you turn the ESC on and off )
