The Hobbywing QuicRun 16BL30 G2 ESC with 2435SL 6500KV G3 Motor, part number HW38030003, is a brushless speed control and motor combo for small radio-controlled vehicles. It combines a 30A QuicRun G2 ESC with a 6500KV, four-pole 2435SL G3 motor, providing a matched power system for suggested 1/16 and 1/18 scale on-road and off-road applications.
The ESC uses intelligent freewheeling to improve drive efficiency, reduce operating temperature and support smoother operation. Its compact housing measures 33.4 x 26.8 x 15.1mm, helping with installation and chassis layout. The built-in BEC can be set to either 6V or 7.4V, with a continuous output of 2A and peak output of up to 4A for compatible servos.
With an IP67 protection rating, the ESC is designed to resist dust and water splashes in normal use, including conditions involving rain, sand and mud. This protection is tested in controlled conditions and can reduce through wear and ageing, so the unit should not be submerged for extended periods. The motor output is sealed with silicone rubber to help protect against dust in off-road use.
Features
The sensorless brushless system accepts a 2-3S LiPo battery and uses an XT60 power connector with 3.5mm gold motor plugs already fitted. The motor is supplied with a 2mm shaft and 3.5mm male connectors, allowing connection without soldering. The ESC supports adjustment through its SET button, an LED Program Box or an LCD G2 Program Box; OTA programming, firmware upgrades and data recording are not supported.
The motor uses 0.2mm silicon steel, a high-temperature 200°C enamelled wire and a high-strength rotor. Its 6500KV rating suits the supplied 1/16 scale power system, while the ESC can also operate with a sensored brushless motor in sensorless mode. Suggested applications include on-road cars, buggies, short course trucks and monster trucks in the stated scales.

Compared to the previous generation 16BL30 ESC, the G2 ESC is significantly smaller: 8.3% shorter in length, 7.1% narrower, and 16.7% lower in height. This design is compact and makes installation easier and allows for cleaner wiring on the chassis.
BEC Upgrade Compared to the G1 ESC.
The BEC’s continuous current has been upgraded from 1A to 2A.
A peak current of up to 4A
The output voltage can be switched between 6V and 7.4V.

Note: The IP67 protection rating described above applies under normal usage conditions, providing splash resistance, water resistance, and dust resistance, as tested under controlled laboratory conditions. These protective features are not permanent, and protection performance may degrade over time due to regular wear and aging. Do not submerge the product in water for extended periods, as this may cause damage.

Excellent protection.
