The ICM I-16 Type 24 in 1:32 scale (HC-ICM32001) recreates the renowned Polikarpov fighter—one of the first monoplane combat aircraft with retractable landing gear. The Type 24 variant, fitted with the M-63 engine and a reinforced chassis, was produced from 1939 to 1940 with 934 aircraft built. I-16 fighters formed the backbone of Soviet Fighter Aviation in 1941 and saw extensive action across the Soviet-German Front until mid-1943.

This high-accuracy plastic model kit delivers an authentic representation of the Type 24, with a highly detailed cockpit and chassis, a four-version decal sheet and clear assembly instructions. It’s a compelling choice for aircraft modellers interested in WWII aviation and the development of early monoplane fighters.
