The Optima Mid’s belt-driven 4WD layout delivers smooth, efficient power with excellent stability on low-grip surfaces. Updated to suit contemporary electronics and brushless motors, it features 48-pitch gearing for precise ratio tuning, a reinforced slipper clutch, and a belt tensioner for easy, consistent adjustment. The iconic body is supplied clear with decals to recreate the classic look, while wheels and tyres echo the period-correct design with modern grip.

Engineered upgrades include FRP shock stays, gold anodised threaded oil shocks and hex hardware throughout. The aluminium countersunk chassis, moulded belt covers and strengthened suspension components provide durability and serviceability worthy of today’s tracks.
