Italeri Scout Car M3

Italeri’s Scout Car M3 (part HC-7063) focuses on the renowned White M3 armoured reconnaissance vehicle of the Second World War. Powered by a 110 hp Hercules JXD six-cylinder petrol engine and featuring four-wheel drive, the M3 could reach up to 81 km/h and was employed for patrol, reconnaissance and command post duties.

The vehicle accommodated up to eight personnel and was typically armed with a 12.7 mm Browning M2 machine gun, supported by two 7.7 mm Brownings mounted on the sides. First deployed in the Philippines in 1941, it later served in North Africa and Sicily, before advanced scouting roles were superseded by the M8 Greyhound. Beyond American service, the type was also fielded by British and French forces, and some Red Army units used it on the Eastern Front to tow 76 mm ZIS-3 guns.
