J Concepts 1988 Chevy Snoopnose Body (Fits - Mini LMT)

In the early 1990's, several teams stepped up in the Monster Truck racing game to put Chevrolet back on top. With improved suspension systems and a longer wheelbase chassis aided by computer designs, the need for a specialty body was created. The "Snoop Nose" fiberglass body was used by the Chevy boys which featured an extended wheelbase, larger wheel well openings, and of course, a low-slung front clip which gives it that "snoop" appearance.

JConcepts revives a cult favorite with a completely redesigned body for Mini LMT solid axle monster truck. The wheelbase is perfect for solid runners in today's racing and with a proportioned width and "snoop nose," the Chevy is a cut above the rest. The tucked front nose provides clearance for an assortment of tires such as the Renegades and Racers while the shaved front and rear bumper faces the competition like a fighting bull. The main structure of the body remains a genuine Chevrolet style used from 1988-1998 and deep down represents the "Heartbeat of America" generation.

Decal design is a constant focus and with all JConcepts bodies, a quality sheet is included with grille, headlight, and taillight layout. Many JConcepts logos, brands and product names have also been included to give a full complement of useable artwork. Best of all, the new body delivers the style that today’s Monster Trucker is looking for without compromising on the rugged and dependable qualities. This combination is intended to be used without the standard cage fitted to the traditional Mini LMT chassis layout. Instead, install the included body mounts on the chassis and use the appropriate angled style mount to the front and parallel mount to the rear. Adjust the height front and rear to personal liking and install the body clips as a traditional body. Body clip leashes are also included to help keep the clips in order; these can be installed to user preference and position of choice. Several different height and angled mounts are included for future projects and releases to accommodate an assortment of MT body shells.

Each package includes window mask, 1988 generation Chevy specific decal sheet, JConcepts #5230 body mount set, and clear polycarbonate body.
