JConcepts 3DP Pink Pre-Mounts on 3348W Wheels

Straight out of the JConcepts 3^rd dimension, the 3DP tire designed and developed for carpet off-road racing is a new winner in the line-up. Up to this point, the JConcepts Fuzz Bite, Pin Swag, and artificial surface tires have dominated events around the world. Looking back in the JConcepts arsenal, a dirt tire was released in 2011 named 3D. The tire was developed as half pin and half bar tire to give a lot of flexibility on different surfaces. Using this identity, the team from Groveland, Florida adapted the Fuzz Bite “reverse water tower pins” to the 3DP with a massive increase in pin quantity for the center portion of the tire. For the inside and outside positions, unique bars which have been cut and sliced for increased flexibility are positioned like the original 3D dirt tire.

More pins are added in the open spaces utilizing the original concept to allow slightly more space on the outside. A radial ring is added to the outside portion of the upper sidewall to provide low edges of contact patch to the racing surface. The JConcepts tires include open cell, medium inserts for plush control. The 2.2” bead mounting diameter fits to popular wheels like the #3348 Mono wheels available in bright white and fluorescent yellow. In addition to Mono wheels, JConcepts also offers separate the Pioneer wheels for modern vehicles featuring the raised panel design available in new colors such as retro pink.

A unique feature on all JConcepts advanced artificial surface tires are the scalloped tire beads which remove weight from a normally beefy area. The tips of the bead touch off on the inner beads on the wheel which lead to a great alignment but now with reduced rotating weight. During the gluing process, it is also handy to have some breathing room for the glue process, and the geometry gives many edges and ledges to adhere to. The 3DP tires are available as unmounted, and pre-mounted options in either bright white or fluorescent yellow wheel color combinations.
