The JConcepts Nessi - Purple - Fits 2.2 Rear Wheel is a purple soft-compound rear tyre, part SCH-JC3167-011. It is designed around the industry-standard 2.2-inch bead mounting size and is suggested for use with 2.2-inch rear buggy wheels. An open-cell insert is included, making the tyre and insert a complete set ready for mounting.

The Nessi tread uses a 3D-blended pin design with medium-height pins, combining pin size and separation for quick reaction on the track. Its tread layout includes semi-circle protrusions through the centre section and sidewall area. These features are intended to add side-bite while reducing grip-rolling instances associated with conventional pin designs.

A low-profile, wide-stance carcass supports the tyre's racing-focused layout and is intended to help provide rolling speed. The Nessi is developed for carpet and astroturf racing, while its 2.2-inch mounting format also makes it suitable for suggested use across natural and artificial track conditions. This version uses JConcepts' soft compound, identified by the purple dot. A medium compound is also available separately with a pink-dot marking.

JConcepts hits the track with another weapon for the carpet and astroturf racing world. The Nessi tire shares styling cues from its successful brother, the Lockness. Racing on artificial surfaces requires a lot of stability and forward-bite and the design team went to work to substantially improve performance. The new tire brings a new 3D blended pin-size, pin-separation, and a lightweight and incredibly low-profile carcass.

Designed in the industry standard 2.2” bead mounting size, the Nessi is very versatile and has shown to work in many natural and artificial conditions. The semi-circle protrusions, unique to the Lockness and now the Nessi are included in the center section of the tire and on the sidewall area. These details are important and the low semi-circles improve side-bite but also minimize grip-rolling instances associated with normal pins.

The medium compound marked with a pink dot, and soft marked with a purple dot represent the JConcepts options of compounds with good wear characteristics. The rear tires include open cell inserts making them a complete set ready to mount, straight out of the package.
