JCI RC10T Body 1993 Winter Champs (narrow)

During the early months of 1993, the Associated team fought back at the Winter Championships in Lutz, Florida. Updated and revised parts, along with a narrower body covered many of the team driver’s vehicles during this event. This marked a new movement for drivers looking for the slim style design, hugging the chassis a little closer, more room for adjustment on the front shock tower, and a spoiler which mounts on top of the bed in the rear of the shell.

On the racetrack, the stadium truck class was the most emerging class in the early 1990’s. ROAR held a separate truck national from the buggy events to accommodate the large number of entries. In honor of the golden age of stadium truck racing, JConcepts unveils a “1993 Winter Champs” edition narrow body for the RC10T. The RC10T had very little body options available and JConcepts took on a passion project to deliver a body to a vintage community thirsty for a fresh reboot.

The JConcepts body captures the look and provides a narrower gap against the chassis to give racers the Stadium Truck look popular in the 90’s. JConcepts, once sold the original RC10T body in the narrow configuration, so, in order to renew and complete the line-up, the JConcepts team took on the task of re-creating the original “wide” and “narrow” configurations for the fans of the #gojconcepts materials, packaging, window mask and decal sheet.

The entire body shape has been chiseled, incorporating styling cues from a 1:1 truck including wheel well shapes, door lines, window outlines and rear tailgate. The front-end sits just behind the front bumper while the headlight and grille area appear strikingly stock and with included decal sheet, looks like its street truck counterpart. The RC10T body is molded in a durable gauge material and includes rear spoiler, mounting hardware and decal sheet to completely outfit a vintage ride.
