KHD S3000 - WWII German Army Truck

The ICM KHD S3000 – WWII German Army Truck (part number HC-ICM35451) is a finely detailed 1:35 scale plastic model kit of the Wehrmacht’s widely used 3‑tonne cargo truck. Produced from 1940 at the Klöckner‑Humboldt‑Deutz plant in Ulm, the real S3000 featured a 4‑cylinder Deutz diesel engine and rear‑wheel drive, serving extensively on the Soviet‑German front, in North Africa, Italy and France through to the end of the war.

Despite limited cross‑country capability that later led to numerous Maultier half‑track conversions, the KHD S3000 became a mainstay of German logistics, with 10,684 trucks produced between 1940 and 1944. This kit captures the vehicle’s utilitarian design with an emphasis on chassis, engine and interior detail, supported by multiple period marking options.
