It depicts the Kozak-2 variant fitted with a large-calibre DShKM machine gun and a fully modelled combat compartment interior. The real vehicle was developed by the Ukrainian enterprise Scientific and Production Association “Praktika”, evolving from the SRM-1 Kozak and introduced in 2015 on an Iveco Eurocargo chassis.
About The Kozak-2
The Kozak-2 belongs to the MRAP class, designed to protect its crew from mines and ambushes. Armour provides protection against 7.62 mm small arms fire, ammunition fragments and mines. Inside, anti-trauma seats with five-point belts enhance crew safety. In service, the vehicle is used for patrolling, vehicle escorting, communications and providing fire support for personnel.

The ‘Kozak-2’ armoured car, belonging to the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, was developed by the Ukrainian enterprise ‘Scientific and Production Association ‘Praktika” in 2009. Initially, a prototype named the SRM-1 ‘Kozak’ was produced, but mass production was not initiated at that time due to several reasons. Subsequently, in 2014, specialists from Praktika began designing a new armoured car based on the Kozak SRM-1, using the Iveco Eurocargo chassis. By spring 2015, the Kozak-2 variant was introduced. This armoured vehicle falls into the MRAP class of combat vehicles, designed to protect the crew from mines and ambushes. Its functionalities include patrolling, vehicle escorting, communications, and providing fire support for personnel in battle.
