The real AHN featured a cab-over layout, 6-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive, with production restarted under occupation in March 1941. “Lastkraftwagen” (LKW) combines the German words for cargo and motor vehicle, underlining the truck’s workhorse role across multiple fronts.
