Prototype Inspiration

More than 300 Class L45H locomotives were built at the '23 August Works' in Bucharest, with most delivered to Poland, Romania, and Hungary. After German reunification, several examples, including L45H-083, came to Germany. Purchased by BVO Bahn GmbH, this locomotive received a blue livery with a yellow decorative stripe and entered service from 2001 on the Fichtelberg Railway. Today, the line is operated by the Saxon Steam Railway Company (SDG). This model depicts L45H-083 in its BVO Era V presentation.
