The ICM Marauder Mk.III 1:48 scale plastic model kit (HC-ICM48326 / 48326) captures the British-operated development of the B-26 Marauder with precise geometry, crisp moulding and a thoroughly detailed interior. Comprising 380 parts with high-accuracy plastic sprues, it provides an impressive replica measuring 387 mm in length with a 454 mm wingspan, accompanied by decals for three RAF and SAAF subjects.
Built at the Middle River plant, 200 B-26s were supplied to British military aviation as the Marauder Mk.III, serials HD402–HD601. Based on the B-26F, the type incorporated significant wing modifications, a new ventilation mast for fuel tank air access and redesigned nose glazing. The Mk.III differed only slightly from the B-26F, notably the spoked nose wheel landing gear (instead of the solid discs commonly seen on B-26F) and a modified tail gun position where plexiglass near the guns was replaced with canvas. Some sources indicate British-designed bomb sights were fitted on Mk.III aircraft. Marauder Mk.IIIs served with the RAF’s 14 and 39 Squadrons and the South African Air Force’s 12, 21, 24, 25 and 30 Squadrons, supporting the Allied landing in Italy.

The Marauder Mk.III had only minor differences from the B-26F. All Mk.IIIs featured spoked nose wheel landing gear, whereas B-26Fs typically used solid wheel discs. The tail gun position was also modified—the plexiglass covering near the machine guns was replaced with canvas. Some sources indicate that Marauder Mk.IIIs were equipped with British-designed bomb sights.
These aircraft served in the RAF's 14th and 39th squadrons as well as in the South African Air Force's 12th, 21st, 24th, 25th, and 30th squadrons. As part of the SAAF, they provided support during the Allied landing in Italy
