Description
Maverick QByte XB Flux, part number MV15140QBXBF, is a 1:12 scale 4WD brushless buggy supplied ready to run for off-road driving. It uses a shaft-driven drivetrain, composite tub chassis and independent double wishbone suspension for controlled movement across uneven surfaces. Splashproof electronics, a gear cover and a dual-point bell crank steering system with servo saver are included in the design.
The Flux power system combines a 2845 3800KV brushless motor with an MSC-4516-BL electronic speed controller. On a 2S battery setup, the buggy is specified for speeds up to 38kph. Sintered steel gear differentials are fitted at the front and rear, while metal driveshafts and a sintered steel spur gear provide the drivetrain components listed for this version.
Aluminium oil-filled adjustable coilover shocks provide damping at each end of the buggy, with threaded bodies for adjustment. The suspension uses reinforced 8.5mm aluminium shock towers, and the pre-assembled wheel and tyre combination has a deep tread pattern intended for use on dirt, grass, gravel and pavement. The polycarbonate Lexan bodyshell is secured with body clips tied to the shell for easier removal.
Radio System And Included Equipment
The supplied MRX-314 2.4GHz four-channel receiver works with the MTX-314 2.4GHz four-channel transmitter. The radio equipment, motor, speed controller and steering servo are installed in the ready-to-run model, while the included battery and charger provide the listed power source.
