The ICM Messerschmitt Bf 109E-7/Trop - WWII German Fighter (HC-ICM72133) is a 1:72 plastic aircraft model kit with 43 parts and detailed assembly instructions. It represents the tropical version of the Messerschmitt Bf 109E, a German Luftwaffe fighter from the Second World War.

The Bf 109 was among the first generation of high-speed fighter monoplanes developed during the 1930s, with later versions remaining in production until the end of WWII. The Bf 109E modification first appeared in 1938, while the E-3 became the first mass-produced German fighter variant. Bf 109E aircraft took part in the Polish, Norwegian and French campaigns of 1939-1940, followed by combat during the Battle of Britain.

The E-7/Trop was fitted with special tropical equipment for operations in warmer climates. Bf 109E aircraft also saw action over the Balkans, North Africa and the Soviet-German front in 1941.
