Description

The ICM MiG-25 RBF - Soviet Reconnaissance Plane, part number HC-ICM72174, is a 1:72 scale plastic model kit of a Soviet reconnaissance aircraft. The MiG-25 was developed by the Mikoyan Design Bureau at the end of the 1960s as the world's first interceptor fighter capable of Mach 3. The reconnaissance-bomber modification was designated MiG-25 RB, while the improved MiG-25RBE introduced updated avionics and was produced between 1981 and 1982.

This kit represents the MiG-25RBF reconnaissance variant and provides 139 parts for assembly. It includes detailed instructions to guide construction, along with accurately shaped sprues produced in plastic. Once built, the model measures 315 mm in length and 189 mm in width, giving the finished aircraft a substantial presence while retaining the compact scale of a 1:72 display model.

Historical Markings

The marking options represent MiG-25RBF aircraft operated by Soviet and Russian Air Force reconnaissance units. The available schemes cover aircraft from the 47th GRAP at Shatalovo in 2001, including a scheme dated August 2001, and an aircraft from the 931st OGRAP at Werneuchen Air Base in Germany in 1991. These options allow the finished model to depict different operational periods and units associated with the type.
