ICM’s 1:24 Model T 1913 Speedster brings the early era of American motoring to the workbench. Based on Ford’s iconic Model T, which saw millions produced between 1908 and 1927, this kit reflects the spirit of the 1913 speedster conversions popular at the time.

Supplied as part number HC-ICM24026, this plastic kit features highly detailed sprues with high accuracy, capturing the chassis, engine and body interior. Two American sport car driver figures are included, together with rubber tyres and detailed assembly instructions.

One of the most numerous and famous cars in world history was the Model T produced by the Ford Motor Company. It became the first mass-production car, helped by being affordable for the middle-classes. The first example of the Model T was built on September 27th, 1908. It had a four-cylinder engine with 22 and a half horsepower. The mass production was launched at the Highland Park Ford Plant, Michigan at the beginning of 1914. They produced 15,007,003 cars from 1908 up to 1927. Model T cars were produced in different types, with some 1913 cars being converted into speedsters.
