The ICM Moskvitch-401-420 Saloon 1:35 scale plastic model kit (HC-ICM35479) recreates one of the most numerous Soviet passenger cars. The Moskvitch-401 was an improved successor to the Moskvitch-400, which itself was an exact copy of the pre-war 4-door Opel Kadett K38. Produced by the Moscow Plant of Small Cars (ZMA), the 4-door closed saloon 401-420 variant became a familiar sight from the late 1940s through the 1950s and 1960s, with 216,006 saloons built from 1946 to 1956.

This detailed kit features a fully rendered chassis, engine and interior, complemented by rubber tyres and a four-version decal sheet. With crisp, high-accuracy sprues and clear assembly instructions, it offers an engaging build and a distinctive addition to any 1:35 scale collection.

The passenger car Moskvitch-400 was in production at the Moscow Plant of Small Cars (ZMA) from December 1946 onwards. It was an exact copy of the pre-war 4-door Opel Kadett K38 variant. It was replaced by an improved Moskvitch-401 model with increased engine power from 1954. Moskvitch cars were produced in different types. Moskvitch-401-420 cars with 4-door closed saloon bodies were the most numerous. In total, 216,006 saloons were produced from 1946 until 1956.
