Description
Precision Aerobatics Quantum Evo 80 Pro HV-Sbec (AC-2190EVO) is an adjustable high-voltage SBEC electronic speed controller for RC brushless motor setups. It is preconfigured for plug-and-play use with Thrust brushless motors, providing selectable 6V, 7.4V or 8.0V switching BEC output. Suggested compatibility includes applications using 2-6 cell LiPo batteries and high-RPM brushless motors.
The controller has a programmable microprocessor system with a user-friendly interface for adjusting the operating settings. These include brake operation, battery type, low-voltage cutoff, switching frequency, timing, motor rotation and soft-start acceleration. Governor mode is also available for suggested helicopter applications. Factory default restoration allows the original setup to be reinstated when required.
Features
The Quantum Evo 80 Pro is designed for controlled throttle response and cool operation, with a larger heat sink and low electrical resistance. Its settings allow the controller to be adapted to different motor and power-system requirements, while the supplied air baffles help provide airflow around the motor, ESC and batteries when installed as directed.

Safety Features
Protection functions help manage common operating conditions. Thermal overload protection monitors heat build-up, while automatic throttle shut-off responds to a lost signal. Power arming protection helps prevent accidental motor spool-up when the system is switched on, and audible alert tones indicate abnormal conditions.

It is essential to allow good air flow (using the supplied air baffles and installing the gear per the instruction manual) over the motor, ESC and batteries under normal RC hobby use only, otherwise, ESC will heat-up and reach the thermal protection threshold or may damage.
