Description

The REDS VX4H 540 10.5T Brushless Motor, 2 Poles Sensored (REDMTTE0056H), is a 1/10 electric brushless motor from the GEN4 range. It is designed for radio-controlled racing applications where motor efficiency, cooling and consistent operation are important.

The GEN4 stator uses low-resistance copper wire, collector rings and gold-plated solder tabs to reduce electrical resistance and magnetic losses. This arrangement supports efficient power delivery and higher motor speed, while helping to manage operating temperatures during use. The larger stator works with a two-piece CNC-machined motor can to improve cooling compared with the previous generation.

A balanced neodymium rotor rated for high-temperature operation provides the magnetic drive system. REDS also offers optional rotors for tuning the motor to different track conditions, while optional ceramic bearings are available for setups that place the motor under demanding operating conditions. Titanium screws are used to reduce iron losses, and the motor has a sensored design for controlled operation with a compatible system.

The 10.5T winding provides a defined motor specification for 1/10 electric model setup and tuning. As part of the VX GEN4 family, this motor has been developed through track testing focused on operating temperature, lap-time consistency and smooth, quiet running.
