Description

The REDS VX4H 540 7.5T Brushless motor 2 poles sensored, part REDMTTE0054H, is a 1/10 sensored brushless motor with a two-pole design. It is part of the REDS GEN4 range and uses a redesigned stator intended to reduce magnetic losses, internal resistance and heat build-up. The stator incorporates copper wire, low-resistance collector rings and gold-plated solder tabs for the motor connections.

A two-piece CNC-machined can and larger stator support the revised cooling arrangement. The motor uses a precision-balanced, high-temperature neodymium rotor, while optional rotors are available for tuning the motor to different track conditions. Titanium screws are also used in the construction, and optional ceramic bearings are available for applications where additional performance and durability are required.

Features

REDS reports that extensive track testing produced more consistent operation, lower operating temperatures, reduced lap times and smoother, quieter motor running compared with the previous generation. Each motor is available in a factory-selected version, allowing the unit to be supplied with a selected setup from the factory.

For suggested compatibility, this motor is intended for 1/10-scale electric RC applications that use a sensored brushless system. Its 7.5T winding and 540-size format provide the key identification points when selecting a replacement or tuning motor for a suitable model and electronic speed controller.
