The REDS VX4H 540 8.5T Brushless motor 2 poles sensored BRCA & EFRA legal, part REDMTTE0055H, is a 540-size two-pole sensored brushless motor identified for BRCA and EFRA-legal racing.

Features

This GEN4 motor uses a redesigned stator with low-resistance copper wire, collector rings and gold-plated solder tabs. The arrangement is intended to reduce magnetic losses and internal resistance while supporting efficient heat dissipation and higher motor speed.

Cooling is addressed through a two-piece CNC-machined can and a larger stator. The motor also uses a precision-balanced, high-temperature neodymium rotor. REDS states that track testing produced more consistent operation, lower operating temperatures and smoother, quieter running compared with the previous generation.

Titanium screws are used to reduce iron losses, while optional rotors allow the motor to be tuned for different track conditions. Optional ceramic bearings are also available for setups requiring additional bearing performance and durability under demanding operating conditions.
