All cables are already wired ready for connection, no soldering necessary. The battery connector is a T-style plug and the motor has 4mm sockets.

    If you wanted to upgrade to brushless the cheap way, then yes it would work fine. However you would not have the slipper clutch system included or the stronger 0.8 mod gears.

    Yes, as long as the pinion has a 3.2mm hole for most 1/10th size motors

    No. These are a basic combo so I'd stick to say 8.4v NiMh max input
