S2 Chassis Stiffener - L1R

The Schumacher S2 Chassis Stiffener for the CAT L1R (part SCH-U8803) is designed to fit at the rear of the chassis, covering the LiPo mounting area to reduce uncontrolled flex. By limiting chassis coiling, it helps the car stay flatter through corners and reduces the tendency to snap on corner exits.

With this stiffener installed, the RF strap will sit 1mm higher naturally. Using an added 1mm spacing (instead of a 2mm spacer) achieves the commonly run 2mm strap spacing.

Assembly Notes

• Remove the rear transmission housings, LiPo hooks and RF strap prior to assembly.
• LiPo height will be 1mm higher than kit; use a 1mm spacer under the LiPo swivel.
• With the stiffener fitted, the RF strap is 1mm higher; use 1mm spacing (not 2mm) to achieve 2mm total strap height.
