Description
The Schumacher Neon FT, part number SCH-K233, is a front-wheel-drive mini racing chassis kit for competitive M-Chassis racing. It has been developed around predictable handling, balanced weight distribution and a transmission designed to transfer drive efficiently around the circuit.
The chassis uses a double-wishbone suspension layout with lightweight, stiff upper and lower wishbones. Fixed-length upper wishbones provide defined camber and castor settings, reducing adjustment requirements while giving the car a consistent starting setup. Steering arms are shaped to provide an adjustable Ackermann setting, while the hub carrier design maintains controlled wheel movement. Optional anti-roll bars and adjustable rear track rods allow the handling balance and rear toe-in to be tuned for different track conditions.
A gear differential with steel outputs sits within the moulded transmission housing, supported by a fully ball-raced transmission and high-quality MBL 119T belts. Diff eccentrics allow belt tension to be adjusted, while also allowing changes to the differential or spool height. The double-joint front driveshaft uses Schumacher’s joint design, and the layshaft assembly and motor mount are shaped to keep the drivetrain compact. A top-deck stiffener screw can be fitted to the motor mount when additional chassis rigidity is required.
