Description
The SkyRC T120 Pico AC/DC Charger, part number SCH-SK-100236-01, is a compact dual-channel charger for a range of rechargeable battery chemistries. Its two independent outputs provide up to 120W of total AC power, with up to 60W available through each channel, allowing two batteries to be charged at the same time. Charging current is adjustable up to 6A.
The charger supports LiPo, LiFe, Li-ion, LiHV, Pb, NiMH and NiCd batteries. For lithium packs, the main output and balance port monitor individual cell voltage during charging, with balance charging, standard charging and storage modes available. NiMH and NiCd batteries can use charge or re-peak modes, while Pb batteries support normal, AGM and cold charging.
A built-in balance port also supports storage discharge at up to 9W, with a maximum discharge current of 500mA. The charger can measure internal resistance to provide information about battery condition and discharge performance. Its Arm Cortex-M3 processor controls the charging process, while an integrated temperature sensor adjusts the cooling fan according to load and temperature.
As well as charging batteries, the T120 Pico can operate as a DC power supply. Its adjustable output covers 6–17V with a current range of 0.5–6A. Protection functions include short-circuit, capacity, time-out, reverse-polarity, cut-off, over-voltage and overload protection, with a flame-retardant chassis also specified.
The ColorX interface uses a light cyan and green display design with responsive menus and clear icons. The interface supports English, Simplified Chinese, German, Spanish, French and Japanese, allowing the operating language to be changed through the charger menu.
