Tamiya 1/35 M51

The Tamiya 1/35 M51 (HC-35323) is an all-new tooling plastic assembly kit that authentically captures the Israeli upgrade of the M4A1 Sherman, featuring the French 105mm CN-105-F1 gun, a prominent muzzle brake and a turret bustle counterweight. Detailed surface textures, HVSS suspension and T80 belt-type tracks combine to deliver a highly convincing scale presence.

Developed by the Israeli Ordnance Corps in the 1960s, the M51 paired a 460hp diesel engine with wider tracks for improved mobility. It saw notable action during the 1967 Six-Day War against T-54/55 and JS-3 tanks, where its 105mm gun could engage effectively using HEAT ammunition. The type continued to serve with distinction into the early 1980s.
