Questions & Answers

If I am right in thinking that it is a good idea to fully discharge a Nimh battery before recharging it again, and if I only ran my model RC cars for say half an hour at a time over a few days until the battery was discharged, would it be better to use a Low Mah battery (1800 mah) as it would run down quicker and be charged up again than a stronger 3,000 mah battery that used infrequently would take longer to run down?

It should not make much difference unless the battery has been unsused for a while then you need to cycle it (fully charge and discharge) but nimh do not have memory so charge as and when you need .
