KUNG modules were produced in wood and later metal, often fitted with heating, ventilation and lighting, and deployed on various vehicle chassis.
This highly detailed plastic kit reproduces the external bodywork, complete with hatches and doors, making it ideal for dioramas or, with suggested compatibility, mounting on a truck model’s chassis. Precision-moulded sprues and clear assembly instructions support an accurate, satisfying build.

Army truck bodies were designed to house various pieces of equipment and machinery. In the Soviet Union, they were most commonly known as "KUNG" - a term for a standardised military vehicle module/trailer system. At first, they were made of wood, and later there were designs using metal. Often these bodies were built for specific vehicles, but there were also universal bodies that allowed for them to be used on different chassis types.
In addition to special military equipment, they were also equipped with heating, ventilation, and lighting systems. Quite often in post-Soviet countries, such vans can be found being used as improvised housing (on garden plots and building yards, for example), or to accommodate the security of an object.
