The real rear-wheel-drive vehicle, built at the Opel plant in Brandenburg from 1938, used a 6-cylinder engine also found in the Opel Kapitän. Around 10,000 were produced between 1938 and 1942 and saw service on multiple fronts, including France and Russia.
The ICM HC-ICM35401 plastic model kit captures this subject with a highly detailed chassis and engine, a fully rendered cab interior, rubber tyres, and a four-version decal sheet. Clear assembly instructions and crisp, accurate mouldings support a precise, realistic build.

A significant part of the German Wehrmacht vehicle fleet during World War II was made up of 1.5-tonne cargo trucks. One of the most popular was the Typ 2,5-32, produced from 1938 onwards at the Opel plant in Brandenburg. This rear-wheel drive truck was equipped with a 6-cylinder engine that was also used in the Opel Kapitän luxury passenger car.
