Overview

Designed by Daimler-Benz and produced from 1934 to 1939, the G4 featured an eight-cylinder engine rated at 100 hp (later 110 hp) and a convertible roof. Developed for high-ranking officials and army staff duties (Kfz.21), it was complex and costly, resulting in limited production. Some vehicles were fitted with MG 34 machine guns and were used for transporting senior Wehrmacht command as security and escort cars, known as Partisanenwagen.
